Join our team of engineers for a rewarding career in field application for some of the world’s most advanced semiconductor customers. This position requires the incumbent to support for customers development project according to the new product test specifications. He/she will be responsible for diagnosing and providing solutions to malfunctions in the test socket.  Working with the end users, the field application engineer will gain knowledge on the latest technology and opportunity to work on newly developmental products. This position may require travel to customer locations.

Our ideal candidate possesses relevant field application experience to work with our customer by ensuring long term sustainable business relationship. He/ She understanding final test products, customer needs and contribute existing to new business opportunity through various sales aspect. This position requires a customer support orientation, excellent communication skills as well as a willingness and ability to learn and understand new technology.  

Responsibilities:

 

  • Responsible and deliver service support to assigned customer.
  • Provide Onsite support activities including perform evaluation and qualification of EQT product.
  • Coordinate product Installation at customer site and monitor EQT product performance
  • Perform acceptance of protocol/buyoff with customer upon installation
  • To trouble shoot test socket and handlers, repair, provide technical solution to ensure smooth running of EQT product at customer site
  • Diagnose, analyse on-site issue raised by customer and resolve technical issues involving all EQT products
  • Report regularly and follow up the status of the ongoing activities
  • Work closely with reporting manager to achieve sales target set
  • Interact with customers to provide and process information in response to inquiries, concerns, and requests about EQT products.
  • Participate frequently in customer meetings and foster all levels of communications with customer
  • Stay current with product information, changes, and updates. Interface with Sales, Product Application, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams to contain and resolve any necessary product problems in the field.
  • Educate and familiar customer with EQT product as well as drive quality and reliability to meet the products requirements and expectation.
