This is a great opportunity for anyone who wants to learn more about F&B industry, customer relations, experience start up environment, learn a lot about culture through food and above all have lots of fun!!

This position could be a full time or a part time position for lunch and/or dinner service.

Responsibilities: - will include but not limited to:

  • Responsible to set up all aspects of dining before lunch/ dinner service.
  • Managing online reservations, confirmations and seat allocations. Handling incoming phone calls as necessary.
  • Greeting guests as they enter, seating them and/ or putting them on a waiting list as necessary.
  • Providing guests with menus and explaining the restaurant concept, and answering any initial questions.
  • Help in serving the food from the kitchen and drinks from the bar.
  • Engaging with guests to ensure they're happy with food and service.
  • Responding to complaints and helping to resolve them.
  • A detailed knowledge of the menu and daily specials.
  • Be willing to help out with other positions in the restaurant as needed.
  • Providing great customer service.
  • Manage billing and reconcile sales after business hours.
  • Responsible for setting up the dining for the next service.

 

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills and must be customer service oriented.
  • Maintains excellent personal hygiene.
  • Training will be provided and candidates must have a positive attitude and ability work well under pressure with all restaurant staff.
  • Follow food and beverage safety and hygiene policies and procedures.
  • Able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
  • Able to safely lift and easily manage trays of food when necessary.
  • Willing to follow instructions and ask questions for clarification if needed.
  • Able to handle money accurately and operate a point-of-sale system.
  • Must be willing to work weekends and public holidays.    
  • Restaurant experience a plus.
